On the 16th of April 2015, Illegal Tender Rum Co’ 1200L still was turned on for the first time in the company’s history. Hard work, passion, and a need to create a premium Rum was on everyone’s minds. Fast forward two years and the company has seen a return on the hard work with several spirit awards already amassed.

With 2 golds already for the 1808 Barely Legal which is the base spirit that has now been aged to be called Rum, the team at Illegal Tender Rum Co have nurtured these barrels from the initial filling to now the decasking of the first release. Each bottle comes with a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity and with only 600 numbered bottles available (127 Left), this part of Illegal Tender Rum Co’s history will never be repeated.
